Cortagen

Description

Cortagen is a synthetic tetrapeptide bioregulator composed of alanine, glutamic acid, aspartic acid, and proline. It was developed from research involving peptide fractions isolated from cerebral cortex tissue and is primarily studied in relation to the central nervous system, peripheral nerves, and age- or injury-associated neurological changes. Experimental research suggests that Cortagen may influence gene-expression pathways involved in neuronal growth, cellular metabolism, stress responses, and tissue repair.
