PeptideCritic Community Guidelines

PeptideCritic exists so people researching peptides can compare vendors, share honest experiences, and hold this industry to a higher standard than it holds itself. The forum only works if members can trust that reviews are real, discussion is honest, and nobody is quietly selling to them. These guidelines protect that. By posting here, you agree to them.

This document has two parts. Part 1 (sections 1–10) applies to everyone. Part 2 (sections 11–18) applies to anyone promoting software tools in the community and operates as an addendum to the Vendor Terms of Service.

Part 1 — Community Guidelines

1. The basics

  • Treat people with respect. Challenge claims, data, and vendors as hard as you like — don't attack the person making them.
  • No harassment, hate speech, threats, or doxxing. Posting anyone's personal information (real name, address, workplace, photos) without consent is an immediate permanent ban.
  • One account per person. No impersonation, no ban evasion, no sockpuppets.
  • This is an 18+ community. If we believe you're a minor, your account will be closed.

2. Post in the right place

  • Use the category structure and tags. Search before starting a new thread — your question has probably been asked.
  • Write descriptive titles. "Vendor X tirzepatide COA discrepancy" gets answers; "Help??" doesn't.
  • Keep threads on topic. Derails get split or removed.

3. Reviews and vendor discussion

Reviews are the core of this community. The rules here are strict because they have to be.

  • Review what you actually bought and used. Say what you ordered, roughly when, and what happened.
  • Receipts for big claims. Delivery disputes need order confirmations. Purity claims need third-party COAs or test results. Outcome claims need context. If you can't back it up, label it clearly as anecdote.
  • No fake, traded, or incentivized reviews. If you received free or discounted product, disclose it in the review. Undisclosed compensation invalidates the review and risks your account.
  • No review blackmail. Threatening a negative review to extract refunds or free product — or a vendor offering payment or product for positive reviews — is a violation for both sides.
  • Give vendors a fair shot. For order disputes, contact the vendor first and note it in your post. Vendors may respond factually in the relevant thread under the Vendor Terms.

4. Vendors: identify yourself

If you make, sell, or profit from anything discussed here — compounds, supplies, services, or software — you are a vendor.

  • Register as a vendor and agree to the [Vendor Terms] before any promotional activity.
  • Never review your own products or your competitors'.
  • Undisclosed vendor activity (astroturfing, shill accounts, "just a happy customer" posts from staff) is the fastest permanent ban we have, and it applies to the vendor's approval status too.

5. No buying or selling between members

PeptideCritic is not a marketplace.

  • No member-to-member sales, trades, group buys, or "rehoming" of compounds — in threads or DMs.
  • If someone solicits you privately, report it. Solicitation is a permanent ban.
  • No sourcing or trafficking of controlled substances, and no requests for help doing so.
  • No instructions for synthesizing, compounding, or manufacturing compounds.
  • You are responsible for knowing what's legal where you live.

6. Promotion, links, and apps

  • Members: no referral codes, affiliate links, or discount-code drops — anywhere. That includes posts, DMs, signatures, and profiles. They corrupt review trust and are removed on sight, and repeat offenses escalate fast. (Site-level affiliate relationships are disclosed on the main site and never affect review scores or moderation decisions.)
  • Approved vendors and tool makers may promote only within the terms they agreed to, in designated places.
  • Software tools (dose trackers, calculators, logs) may only be promoted by approved makers under the Tools & Apps Terms (Part 2 below), and only if distributed through official channels: app stores, TestFlight, Google Play testing tracks, or the open web. Links to sideloaded APKs, unsigned builds, or enterprise-certificate installs are removed — no exceptions. This is a member-safety rule, not a formality.
  • Promotional access is a business decision. PeptideCritic may decline or revoke promotional approval at its discretion, including for products or services that compete with PeptideCritic or its affiliated projects. This governs promotion by makers — not conversation by members. Members are always free to mention, discuss, and honestly review any tool or service.
  • First-party tools built or operated by PeptideCritic's parent company are identified as such wherever they're promoted.

7. Health and safety discussion

  • Nothing on this forum is medical advice. Not from members, not from moderators, not from anyone with credentials in their username. Talk to an actual clinician who knows your history.
  • Share your own experience and your own data. Frame it as what you did and observed — not as instructions. "Here's what I ran and what I noticed" is fine. "Just take X mg, trust me" is not.
  • Cite sources for research claims. Label anecdotes as anecdotes. The difference matters here more than almost anywhere.
  • No content encouraging reckless use, use by minors, or pressuring people who came here for information.
  • If you're experiencing a serious adverse reaction, seek medical care first. The thread will still be here.

8. Privacy

  • Redact names, addresses, phone numbers, and full order numbers from screenshots before posting.
  • Vendor correspondence may be posted in dispute threads with personal details redacted.
  • Don't share private DMs otherwise without the other person's consent.

9. Contests and site features

Contest entries follow the posted rules for each contest. Manipulating votes, entries, or accounts to game a contest disqualifies you and may cost your account.

10. Enforcement

  • Most first offenses get a removal and an explanation. Repeat issues escalate: formal warning, temporary ban, permanent ban.
  • Some things skip the ladder entirely: astroturfing, member sales or solicitation, doxxing, scams, and anything endangering minors.
  • Moderators will tell you why content was removed. You can appeal a decision once, by DM, calmly. Relitigating moderation in public threads gets removed.
  • Use the report button. It's faster than arguing in-thread and it's how most problems actually get caught.

Part 2 — Tools & Apps Terms

These terms govern the promotion of software tools in the PeptideCritic community: dose trackers, logging apps, calculators, browser extensions, research utilities, and related services. If you built it, operate it, or profit from it, these terms apply to you.

"Promotion" means announcement threads, links to your tool, soliciting users or feedback, giveaways, or responding to member questions as the maker. Organic discussion of your tool by members is not promotion, and it is not yours to manage.

11. Approval before promotion

Contact the moderation team before any promotional activity with: what the tool does, how it's distributed, a link to your privacy policy, a plain-language summary of data handling, and your business model. Promotion before approval is treated as spam under Part 1.

12. Distribution requirements

  • Official channels only: Apple App Store, Google Play, TestFlight, Google Play internal/open testing tracks, or the open web over HTTPS (including PWAs).
  • Not accepted: sideloaded APKs, unsigned builds, enterprise-certificate installs, or downloads gated behind private servers, Discords, or file lockers.
  • You maintain a working update channel and patch security issues promptly.

13. Data and privacy requirements

  • A published, linkable privacy policy.
  • Plain disclosure of: what you collect, where compound and dose logs are stored, whether data leaves the device, how long you retain it, and who you share it with.
  • Compound logs are sensitive data. Treat them that way: encryption in transit at minimum, no sharing of health-adjacent data with ad networks, and prompt notification to affected users and to us in the event of a breach.
  • No selling or brokering member data. No scraping PeptideCritic content or member information.

14. Health and safety framing

  • Your tool and its promotion may not make medical claims or present dosing outputs as medical advice.
  • Calculators and protocol features must carry clear informational-only disclaimers.
  • Nothing in your promotion may target minors or encourage reckless use.

15. Commercial discretion

  • Approval is granted, declined, and revoked at PeptideCritic's sole discretion.
  • We are transparent about one specific ground: we do not provide promotional space to products or services that substantially compete with PeptideCritic or its affiliated projects. Like any publisher, we choose our promotional partners. This clause governs promotional access only — members remain free to discuss and review any tool, including competitors, and we do not remove organic discussion on competitive grounds.
  • Tools affiliated with PeptideCritic's parent company are disclosed as first-party wherever they are promoted.
  • Approval is not an endorsement, warranty, or security audit of your tool, and we may say so publicly.

16. Conduct

  • No astroturfing, sockpuppets, or undisclosed maker accounts. This is the fastest way to lose approval and your account simultaneously.
  • No incentivized or traded reviews of your tool. Beta-tester feedback must be disclosed as beta-tester feedback.
  • Keep promotion to designated threads. Don't inject your tool into unrelated conversations.
  • Take criticism on the merits. Respond factually in-thread; don't brigade, badger, or DM critics.

17. Revocation and enforcement

  • Violations result in content removal, revocation of approval, and account action under Part 1.
  • Immediate revocation with member notice: malware, data leaks, deceptive data practices, or distribution bait-and-switch (approved via an official channel, then steering users to sideloads).
  • Approval may be re-reviewed if your tool's distribution, ownership, or data practices materially change. Tell us when they do.

18. Agreement and changes

Promotion after approval constitutes agreement to this document in full. We may update it; continued participation or promotion after an update is acceptance. Applications and questions: [contact].

These rules can't cover every situation. For edge cases, moderators apply one test: does this make the community more honest and its members safer? That's the standard everything here answers to.
